WORLD CLASS SURFING STEPS FROM CASA DE CASAS
Have you ever dreamed of surfing? Casa de Casas will arrange private surf instructors for adults, children, friends and families. First-time surfers can access beautiful, long, beginner waves along sandy beaches minutes from our house. For the intermediate or advanced surfer, grab a board from our quiver and walk outside the back of the estate, down the beach a few yards and you will be surfing one of the best breaks in Mexico: La Bahía. Accessible to the public only by boat, La Bahía is icing on the cake for Casa de Casas guests. For the intermediate surfers who want surf guiding or advanced lessons, Casa de Casas will arrange an excellent instructor as well.
PUNTA DE MITA
HAS OVER 30 CONSISTENT BREAKS AROUND THE POINT:
La Bahía (right and left) is located just a walking distance from Casa de Casas, at east of the Punta Mita’s North Point outer buoy. It is a fast challenging wave for the intermediate and advanced surfer. The beach is mostly coral and rock, with areas of sand and the ocean floor is coral and rock.
El Anclote (right) is located at Playa El Anclote in the town of Punta de Mita. This wave offers beginners an easy opportunity to stand up the first time and catch long, fun waves. It is a docile rolling wave compared often to that of Waikiki. The beach is a mix of coarse sand, coral, and rock and the ocean floor is rock.
La Lancha (left and right) is located just south of Punta de Mita. La Lancha is a mix of docile rolling breaks for the beginner and larger outside breaks for the intermediate surfer. The beach is soft sand and the ocean floor is a mix sand and rock.
El Faro (right) is located just north of Punta de Mita and, when working, offers one of the longest right-hand breaks in the world. This is a wave for the advanced surfer. The beach is coral and rock and the bottom is coral.
