GOLF IN PUNTA MITA

Golf enthusiast guests of Casa de Casas have two Four Seasons eighteen hole courses to choose from; Pacifico or Bahia, both designed by Jack Nicklaus.  Note: Casa de Casas is a Club Member at the Four Season Golf and Tennis Club (membership access is granted to all Casa de Casas rental guests).

Punta Mita Pacifico Golf Course features stunning lakes and water features, some meandering through multiple holes.   Guests can play this Nicklaus-designed course set within vistas of white-sand beaches and the surrounding Sierra Madre Mountains. Spread over 200 acres, it takes full advantage of its location. Eight holes border either the Pacific Ocean or Banderas Bay, and offer views of whales during their seasonal migration.  Enjoy the novelty and challenge of Hole 3B, dubbed “the Tail of the Whale,” the world’s only natural island green. The Punta Mita peninsula’s tropical landscape of palms and flowering trees adds to the pleasure of playing this golf course, which is at once challenging for experienced golfers and friendly for beginners.  Conde Naste rated this course number one in the world for its superior service and play.

Punta Mita Bahia Golf Course, in contrast to the original Pacifico course, offers more undulating fairways and greens, making putting technique an important part of the playing experience.  While the Resort’s beautiful natural landscape provides a stunning backdrop for the entire course, one of the most breathtaking holes has a downhill approach with a panoramic view of Bahía de Banderas. Another noteworthy hole is nestled on the beach just steps from Punta Mita’s famed El Faro surf spot.

Pacifico Course

Rated #1 Golf Course in Latin America

Highly praised by avid golfers, guests, and elite golfing magazines. Its “Tail of the Whale” is an optional, par-three 19th hole, measuring 199 yards, and features the only natural island green in the world. The course plays between 5,037 and 7,014 yards.

Bahia Club

Newest Golf Course addition

Newest Golf course addition golfing achievement, this second Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course opened in late 2008 and is as stunning as its sister course.

Featuring six ocean holes, playing between 5,180 and 7,030 yards, this championship course rolls through the property of the St. Regis Resort, as well as among the communities of El Encanto, Porta Fortuna, and La Punta Estates. The challenging and undulating fairway and green complexes offer a wonderful counterpart to Pacifico for golf aficionados.
